School supplies donations help ease the cost of education for vulnerable families.

Mbonge, Cameroon — A total of 200 schoolchildren in Nganjo and Bombanda, Mbonge Subdivision, have received books and school bags from B7 Organization in a donation aimed at easing the burden on vulnerable families and supporting children’s access to education.

The materials were distributed equally between the two communities on Thursday, October 8, 2026, with 100 children benefiting in each locality.

Speaking during the donation, B7 Organization Country Director Etoh Kingsley said the initiative was motivated by the need to give back to the community, particularly by supporting children whose families struggle to provide basic necessities.

He said his ambition was to see children attend school and have the opportunity to build a better future for themselves through education.

The donation comes amid the continuing Anglophone crisis in Cameroon’s Northwest and Southwest regions, which has disrupted education and placed additional pressure on many families. For parents already facing financial difficulties, the cost of school supplies remains a challenge at the beginning of the academic year.

Parents in Nganjo and Bombanda expressed gratitude to the organization, noting that the books and school bags would help reduce the financial burden of preparing their children for school.

While the donation addresses only part of the challenges facing schoolchildren in the affected communities, it provides practical assistance to families struggling to meet their children’s educational needs.

B7 Organization says it remains committed to supporting vulnerable communities and helping children access opportunities that can contribute to a better future.
